Writing your own wedding vows can be difficult more most but it is one of the most dear gifts you may ever give one another so it is worth each bit of effort that you put into it.

You don’t have to be Shakespeare or Keats to draft loving promises having a soul. Simply talk from your heart and try and verbalise your emotions.

Writing your Promises isn’t a random process where you simply ramble words from the apex of your head. There’s a process to writing marriage vows. In truth you can even buy marriage promise toolkits to help take you thru the process. From writing out your affections, making guarantees, deciding on the varied forms of address like man, partner, loved one, life partner and even the language you may all go towards making your own, unique set of promises. If you end up incapable of giving expression to your emotions, then the best path to take is to purchase a book or electronic book on marriage and wedding promises. Some folks feel this shows a scarcity of commitment and respect for the event. You wouldn’t expect a non-artist to color his lady’s face to prove how much he adores her and neither would you are expecting a tone-deaf lover to serenade his bride. So why expect someone that does not have the creative talents of a poet, to draft poetry? Also, it’d be bigoted that simply because you don’t have great poetic or journalistic capabilities your promises should be average. Marriage promises are a guarantee you make to one another.

Just as you need the best for your wedding, so should you for the wedding promises. And it’s completely ok to borrow from the professionals.
